Paul MeiselPaul Meisel has illustrated more than 30 books, and he recently branched into writing with Zara’s Hats, which he also illustrated. A photograph of Paul’s grandmother, Zara, inspired the fictional story. His other books include Trick or Treat? and What is the World Made of?   

Paul has studied art, printmaking, and graphic design. His focus since 1990 has been children’s books and educational work. He lives in Connecticut with his wife, three sons, and dog Rusty.
